Well, everyone probably knows that my family consists of one brother (Jackson), mom (Gayle), dad (George). My dad has a Janine, my Bro has a Willa, and I have a Nathan Edward Hoffart, who is just lovely. I'm going to school full time at North Island College, taking first year arts stuff- English and History mainly. I also work at Joe Read's internet cafe and at the Atlas Cafe. Which are both super awesome locally owned spiffy friendly type places to work. Unfortunately, I often don't enjoy all of the above nearly as much as I ought to on account of their competing within the universal 24 hour limit. I live with one roomie, Kait, who is very nice and also very nice to live with. Her time is similarly strained between work and school, she has a long distance relationship (as do I), and we are both fairly frusterated with questions of direction and timing and whatnot... it makes for a nice supportive environment! As for me and Jesus, well... it has felt like a long way back... and I'm not entirely sure where (for all you Capes kids) the "point of departure" lay, but I have found myself so very hardened towards Him. I really do feel that things are getting better all the time. As Nathan is Catholic, that has brought up lots of new questions and concerns, and has in a lot of ways driven me back into reading and prayer as I try to come to terms with my very un-official and very eccumenical doctrine... I think that's about as far as I'll go with that for now, but all of you feel free to put in your two cents, as you could perhaps be of some help to me...
Actually, maybe that's as far as I'll go with this whole entry! Kait and I are going swimming this evening instead of doing our homework. FUN! So I should at least study until we go.
lots of love to you all! And also, here are some pics!

Cool! I feel like I know what's going on now! A Catholic dating a Protestant? It's like the Capulets and the Montagues, two star-crossed lovers. Very romantic. Way to break the mould!
Your course sounds fun, it's too bad you have to work. Students shouldn't have to work. Only drink beer and eat curries.
Very nice pics as well. It will definitely be excellent if I get accepted to SFU 'cuz then we can hang out once again. It will also help me to cajole Beth if I can tell her that moving to Canada means hanging out with Ashley!
My dog asked me to thank you for overcoming your doubts and deciding to pray for him, he says to tell you he is feeling much better, and thanks you for the sympathy card and the basket of grapes.
Bye!!

Ashley!
Really thrilled I can have a window into your life from this blog....and I LOVE the hair; georgous!! I am coming back to Capernwray for the summer, so I must see you!!
Lots of love...
I always think it's a bit funny when your friends from capernwray and elsewhere are all surprised by your brown hair when I am always a little taken aback when you are blonde. I think it has a lot to do with first impressions.
On a related note, I got a haircut! I have bangs! But i just washed it for the first time after having it cut and am concerned that I won't be able to style it to look as it did ever again.
Love the pictures...you will have to send me some of the ones from our photo shoot over Christmas ;)
